the gift of communication
- If your child is not yet in school, but you are already having concerns about pronunciation, word and sentence formation, or social interaction, it will be better to address any issues now before it would possibly become an academic or relationship development issue.
- If your child is already receiving therapy through his/her school, you may consider additional private therapy to guard against regression, facilitate carryover and provide the one-on-one therapy many children need. We invite an open relationship with school therapists.
- Private therapy is also an excellent alternative if your child does not qualify for school based services or if you want to avoid having your child pulled out of class for therapy.
There are many reasons why your child may need private speech therapy services. We invite you to reach out to Nikki with questions and to discuss your child's specific case and needs.
Nikki Dargatz, a certified speech pathologist (CCC-SLP #19152), opened McKinney Speech because she saw the need in her community for speech therapists that come to you and your child.
In Nikki's many years of experience, she has treated children experiencing trouble producing sounds, nonverbal children and those with autism in places like their homes, daycare centers and private schools.
Nikki specializes in providing therapy for the following speech and language concerns:
- Receptive Language
